MUTAG Various Process Pilot Plant 2.0 has arrived in Ribe

In the beginning of June, our state of art, Pilot Plant finally arrived. We have been looking forward to this day for a while, and now we are ready to test the system at our site in Ribe. The Pilot Plant has been developed in close cooperation with Wastewater Solutions Group GmbH from Bachmaning, Austria.

In our pilot plant our clients can test their specific wastewater with our products to compare and determine the best solution before deciding and investing. It is possible to have an inlet flow up to 1 m3/h and a return flow within the system at 3 m3/h. The Pilot Plant contains 4 reaction tanks of approx. 2 m3 each and it is possible to conduct test under both aerobe and anaerobic conditions.

TESTING DURING THE SUMMER
After initial tests in Ribe, the pilot Plant is going to be tested at the sight of one of our partners which deals with high load of COD and NH4 in their wastewater. The test is planned to be running for some weeks during the summer and then the Pilot Plant is ready to be installed at our first client in the fall 2023.

"We are expecting 3, max 4 test each year, since the most tests will be running for several months, to provide extensive insight in the efficiency of the processes and the possibility to try out different treatment setup" our R&D / Biotechnology Engineer Louise Munk says.

The purpose is to show and prove the high efficiency of the Mutag BioChipTM and Mutag EcoChipTM.
