MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Christmas is upon us, and it means that 2022 soon comes to an end. At MUTAG we are looking back at a great year filled with interesting projects, close and rewarding cooperations, amazing customers, partners, and employees. 
 

NEW PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

We started 2022 by entering into an official partnership agreement with the international engineering and consulting company DMT GmbH und Co. KG / DMT Group.  After many years of good cooperation, we made an agreement that will enable both parties to bring a bigger group of specialists to the table, presenting unique solutions within the wastewater treatment sector and professional engineering support all the way through. A cooperation with great possibilities when combining our competencies in future projects.

MUTAG ECOCHIP^TM – FOR BIOLOGICAL WATER AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT

We launched a new product; the Mutag EcoChip^TM made from PE post-industrial material from our production such as surplus or cuts, which is being granuled in our own production facilities. The Mutag EcoChip^TM possesses the exact same design, quality and performance as our original product the Mutag BioChip^TM. However, the Mutag EcoChip^TM is an eco-friendlier product. Both because of the recycled raw material, our focus on zero waste, our use of the newest technology and our production that runs on green energy from wind turbines.

TRADE FAIR ACTIVITIES

We participated in different trade fairs during the year. We were represented at IFAT Worldwide, IFAT India, WEFTEC and Smolt production of the future in Sunndalsöre, Norway. It was a huge pleasure for MUTAG to be part of all these trade fairs and get to connect with so many old and new clients.

DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Together with DTU Sustain, LYNDDAHL a/s and DTU Offshore we were awarded DKK 4,7 million from EUDP for an interesting development project that will run over the next 3 years. The name of the project is: Underwater biological treatment facility for industrial wastewater. 

NEW EMPLOYEES

We welcomed new colleagues to the MUTAG Team. Louise Munk Lauridsen – our new R/D & Biotechnology engineer, Harold Oyovwevotu our new Chemical and Biotechnology engineer, Jens Toftdahl our new Sales Manager and Prabhu Anand A our new Head of Process Engineering. Four new competencies who already strengthened the organization.

NEW OFFICE AND LAB FACILITIES IN DENMARK

Our Danish department moved into new facilities on Ørstedsvej in Ribe. This includes an office and a lab, where we can test, quality assure, optimize, and develop our fantastic products in the future. More about this in 2023.
