Engineering service and the delivery of Mutag BioChip™ carrier and technical equipment for the biological treatment tanks has been provided by MUTAG for the paper mill WWTP in Perlen, Switzerland.
The plant is in operation since 2010. The Mutag BioChip™ is used for high-loaded COD/BOD removal with a volume flow rate: Q = 23,520 m³/d.
